A capitalist supports capital over society
A socialist supports society over capital
Capital/dollars are interchangeable and collectable, and humans are neither.

Can we all agree that the President of the United States should not be delusional?

How about a cartoon of Chief Justice John Roberts on his knees in front of Trump, upraised clasped hands, tears in his eyes, saying “Mr. President, sir!, I would never stand in the way of you building your ballroom! Carry on, sir!”

David Crowley won the WI Dem primary on a campaign of fear against Hong and the DSA pushed by the Dem establishment, reflecting typical Repub campaign fear strategies and reinforcing Repub narratives about progressive politics. Great job. Did Trump run as a moderate? No. Did Clinton and Harris? Yes.

It would be great if the media in interviews could ask El-Sayed about issues most American voters care about that affect their daily lives, which he talks about every day and has made the centerpiece of his campaign, instead of endless questions about Israel and podcasters.

We proved it in Wisconsin. We proved it in New York City. We proved it in dozens of special elections over the past year. People power over money!
Abdul El-Sayed was outspent 9-to-1 by AIPAC and corporate Super PACs in the most expensive Senate Democratic primary of all time.

Last night, he proved that organized people can beat organized money.

Dozens of gas-burning power plants are being built across the country, solely to power data centers.

These plants could emit as much planet-warming pollution as half of all passenger vehicles in the entire country in a single YEAR.

We need a data center moratorium — now.

Claremont has direct proximity to and influence over the government right now. The guy who led the mass deportation campaign for all of 2025 believes this shit.

So yeah, this is fringe, racist, batshit nuttery.

It's also a serious threat.

Many have called Congressional Republicans spineless. Not true! They’re standing up for Republican values! They’re the party of wealth and corporations, so seeing billionaires and corporate CEOs kneeling to and paying off Trump made them realize their values of cutting taxes for the rich,

Roberts has enabled corruption and helped gut voting rights. It’s long past time we fight back. Tell Congress to get it done:

In his tarmac news conference today Trump said it was unfair to deprive Iran of ballistic missiles since many surrounding countries already have them. By that logic Iran should be able to have nuclear bombs because Israel already has a significant stockpile of those nuclear bombs!

Many presidents have modified the White House, rose gardens, tennis courts. But no president has driven the People’s House down to such an unredeemable level of tacky as Trump has with the ”Claw”, a gaudy shrine to violence structure on the South Lawn.

Trump's DNI pick, Jay Clayton, said California’s slow vote counting creates “an opportunity for fraud.”

Sure. And having a front door creates an opportunity for home invasion. And crossing a street creates an opportunity for injury and death. Sheesh. Another voting fraud toady.

SC conservative justices’ understanding of “colorblindness” in the 14th and 15th Amendments results in allowing Alabama's partisan gerrymandering, in which they say they have no judicial role, and makes irrelevant Alabama's racial gerrymandering, which they also say is unconstitutional. Upside down.

Presidential removal can be caused by impeachment in the House and conviction in the Senate for “high crimes and misdemeanors”.

The phrase means abuse of high office, or as Madison wrote: “the misconduct of public men”, not a criminal offense.

Is there any doubt Trump has abused the Presidency?

Several 2026 classes booed AI puffery in their graduating speeches. They should consider “AI” is not threatening their jobs. Responsibility lies with the many companies eager to maximize profits by cutting jobs. Capitalist businesses exist to maximize profits, not provide jobs.

After Trump refused John Thune's offer to fund TSA and the Coast Guard, did Thune kneel to Trump on his way out of the office or just do a deep bow? Inquiring minds want to know.

If the Democrats were smart they'd have people holding signs near every major airport saying "Trump refuses to fund TSA, sends ICE instead" positioned so travelers can fully anticipate their ordeal.
