I am Jared! 3D/&Art/animation/printing, painting, gamedev, robotics, programming, games, sculpture, metalworking, music, philosophy, photography, physics and engineering are all my jams. + ramblings
Took a break from the monitor & got the aqua studio tgts brush library set up, i'm already in love. Fountain brush detailer, cloudy round, and toothy chisel are already favorites. Did a quick (1-2m) doodle of a random shoe & it sucks but I love the edge variation. This is fun 😊

Welp, got to where all guides seem to indicate the thermistor is under the heat pad, but the square on the corner of the board does not have a thermistor there & seems to be using a different board. Same issue but presenting differently, so seems I may need to go another route -__-

Finally mustered the energy to attempt the monitor repair on my Samsung Neo g9, and can't find my precision tool set. Welp, it didn't stop me. Back is off! Thankfully I have half a dozen soldering irons. Time to tinker.

If I ever run into Jimothy once I move to WA I think it'll be a fun time lol. The local fam of ~3 racoons here seem to like me & enjoy sitting on my doorstep watching me at my computer desk. They pose for selfies & sleep on the stoop. Cute lil guys. I just wish they'd stop moving my tools.

Larches are super cool, Larix Laricina. I love the tiny pinecones. It's a bit early for a color change I suppose, but the branches are really cool

I received a free rupee from a super awesome skullkid in cosplay in the Gundam booth at PAX.

My friend Alex whom I went to college with was running the booth as well so it was good to see him again, alas no free merch/swag though T__T

Something else I learned from this trip: Go to Beardslee. Pineapple. Upside Down. Cheesecake. Perfection.

On the list to review for the future & over the rest of PAX:

At least something from each of these artists has struck me as awesome, if I could fit all their things in my suitcase I would, I am really sad I'm not local yet or I'd grab a lot more, but thankfully shipping exists for some!

I suppose since I posted a tiny part of my game map awhile back I should post part of my player character now that I'm around 95% happy with it. There's still tons to do as always but it feels really good to finally have this mostly out of my head after so many years.

Agreed. I love aurichalcite. I have a cool piece I picked up from Etsy a few years ago that was pretty cool mixed with calcite, there are a few similar minerals that exhibit similar allure that are very fun :3

As obnoxious and uncomfortable as these glasses are they do a solid job of keeping out the UV light. I really would prefer to find a pair that both fit well and didn't look so silly, though.

Ah, apologies for lack of clarity. This is specifically on Mobile, Android in particular. I keep the tab bar disabled (which has the +), so on my view there is the addressbar, :D for tab list, and the Vivaldi button. Ideally I'd be able to toggle on an inline + for new tab.

I'll share a tiny piece of the map, as it's still WIP and subject to change. But I love the one little island that turned out looking like a fish. It's adorable.
