I remembered that I approached out of wanting to free them from my home.

but I felt I understood the insect, I knew they did that out of fear. and when I woke up the first thing I thought about was where they would sit in the tree of life.

an insect whom I once saw in a dream. I remembered trying to get them out of my home, approaching them before they jumped at me and bit me in the leg, latching on with their jaws and stinging me simultaneously, putting me in immense pain and scaring the shit out of my nanny-

then flightless again, then flying again, then flightless again, then flying again, then flightless again, then flying again, then flightless again, then flying again, then flightless again, in the span of 5 billion years
