Hello, Bluesky! We’re looking to connect with our Brighton, MI neighbors & fellow farmers in the Mitten. Are any of you out there?
Today 🧡 (The nasturtiums I started this year didn’t do so hot. These grew from seed that fell from last year’s & are now coming into their own.)

Tulips are the waye of the future.
Yf you do not invest yn Tulips you are way behinde.
Yf you do not teache your children about Tulips thei will not be able to compete on the jobbe market.

Detail shots of some of today’s bouquets. I sometimes find that when I zoom in I can better capture the essence of the whole. ✨💐✨

Old folklore says the thorns of wild roses are fairy ladders, tiny steps that help the Little Folk climb, swing, and travel from place to place. Next time you pass a briar, look closely, for you may catch sight of a fairy slipping away on a thorn-tipped stair. #RoseWednesday

Albino raccoon! So neat to see.

At first I thought I saw a cat way up in the big box elder tree that I look out at through our kitchen window. Then I thought it was an opossum. Then I zoomed in…

Maybe this is who has been digging up all of the turtle eggs around our yard.

Mother Nature said yellow is the color of the day! Spotted this Northern yellow warbler at Squiers Preserve in Chelsea.

The yellow flowers are some kind of buttercup. It was wet and I didn’t get close enough to ID.
