People are discussing how Halloween candy is so terrible these days.

A reminder that alot of the candy we eat is made with women’s prison labor.

Russell Stover’s factory in Kansas busses in 150 women a day via a convict leasing program to staff their candy factory.

I’ll take things that will never happen from a statewide DFL candidate for 400.
Need this energy from the MN Democratic candidates in their own debates, please and thank you
Ossoff: "They've unleashed federal agents to kill Americans on the streets of our cities with impunity. That's Mike Collins's immigration policy. And that's what you'd expect from the bigot congressman who called for executed immigrants by throwing to their deaths out of helicopters."

Grateful and current leadership in the MPD in the same sentence? Gotta be kidding me.

Who is grateful to such a corrupt institution?
Many people who were critical of MPD cost overruns were denounced as alarmist or anti-police. Now MPD has admitted to the abuse of overtime hours.

I am grateful current leadership is cracking down but deeply frustrated by this betrayal of the public trust and the time it took to get answers.
Minneapolis police officials admitted Monday that overtime has been mismanaged and abused in recent years, leading to record overspending.

There is something deeply wrong with the state of women’s health in America.

We see the failures most clearly when something terrible happens.

They care for others.
