I just read that the U.S. imports millions of tons of aluminum from Canada. The aluminum production in "the homeland" is only about 675,000 tons. Aluminum is needed to rebuild those AWACs that Hegseth and Iran\Russia destroyed, amongst a million other things. CA also sells US rare earth minerals.
