Absolutely gutted to hear of the death of Alan Knight.

Portsmouth legend among legends, 801 games across four decades for the club.

Game called off today at @brackleytownfc.bsky.social mid-way through the first half which was a shame but not a surprise. Even had the floodlights on at 20 past 3!

Was a great start by the lads but can't be helped.

Darragh was well chuffed to see himself in the programme mind 🤣🤣

It's raining for the first time in weeks and Darr has just jumped fully clothed into the paddling pool...

I need an original idea for a Bluesky post.

Hmmm. An original idea. That can't be too hard.

Google must have lots of them...

What's a T-Rex's favourite playground toy?

The dino-see-saw.

2019 was a wild year, man...

My prediction:

Friendly Uncle Nigel will claim this victory as proof that he has the backing of the entire UK public and the investigations into his finances are a witch-hunt by the "establishment" to prevent him ever becoming PM.

He will then resign his seat forcing another by-election.

That was truly life-changing.

I've never experienced dusk before.

Just using grapes and a strawberry to explain the solar eclipse to Darragh (4) and Keeva (3).

I'm Johnny bloomin' Ball, me.

Like all those marathons he did.

Late as fucking ever.

Back by popular demand.

Well, by @mrlepus.bsky.social demand at least.

Let joyous celebration commence.

You rang?
Right; I respectfully ask you send the following to @theirishego on the hellsite on my behalf:

"Dear Windle Poons,

What the fuck. Where are you? Surely you have a phone that can handle more than one app? Is it because you have offspring now? Stop weaponising your offspring, you big twat.

Phil."

During this half-term Jules took the kids to The Pizza Station Cafe in Winslow to make their own pizzas!

They had an amazing time and were very proud of themselves too :-)

So I've known for a while that if you type "David Williamson Wheelchair" into Google you just get a couple of pages of my ugly mug.

What's very cool though is that I also get one of those AI overview things. Not sure on the geography though 😎

Usual Sunday morning getting the kids up and out and down to the lake to see the ducks and goose...

Or "Laaaake. Jucks. Joose" as Keeva says 😁

Very proud to announce that I have received more than 30,000 Valentines Day Cards.

I would have received a lot more but I ran out of stamps...

Roses are red,
Violets are blue...

Well, no.

Actually I think you'll find that *bluebells* are blue whilst violet is an entirely different spectral colour and has a wavelength between - and this is an approximation - 380 and 450 nanometers.

The best thing about WFH is taking the kids and dog down the park in my lunch-hour.

Cue us all arriving back covered in mud; shoes and wheelchair left outside and the kids in clean clothes for lunch.

They now get to have a nap, I get to go back to work.

Seems unfair, somehow 😀

Right, then.

Let's see what this "Dry January" malarkey is all about.

This week has been the anniversary of the passing of my friend's young son.

I think with people younger than yourself, if you don't see them so often they remain - at least in your mind - fixed at the age you first meet them.

Went for a walk round the lake with Jules and the kids... Darragh marched straight up to a duck, nodded and said "nice to meet you!"

The boy is in his own universe but he's *terribly* polite with it 😁😁
