Unpopular opinion. Watching athletics in the stadium is actually rubbish. Been there. Done that. Had to go back and watch it again on TV to see everything I missed 😂😂😂

Always loved some athletics on the telebox, but tonights Europeans have thrown up some absolute nonsense.

Unpopular opinion. Who cares? We all know Infantino’s FIFA isn’t the moral authority here, but pretending the FA and UEFA are the good guys is laughable. And claiming poorer nations can’t be trusted with more money is just control disguised as concern.

Nolan’s The Odyssey isn’t perfect or a faithful adaptation. But that misses the point. This is a film about the sheer art of storytelling, & how storytellers from days of yore to the modern age can beguile & completely transport an audience. What a magnificent piece of cinema. The man is a genius.

The answer to antisemitism cannot be Islamophobia. You do not defeat one hatred by feeding another. If your response to antisemitism is to stir suspicion against Muslims, clamp down on protest and narrow who gets to speak, then you are not defeating hate. You are redirecting it.

It’s been three days and I still cant get over it. Rochdale didn’t just lose it at the death, they invited hope round, gave it a brew, then pushed it down the stairs.
