Ann Richards is the reason I became a democrat.
"We have forgotten to be our brothers and sisters keepers. And we have forgotten that the Number
1 goal is to love one another."
- Ann Richards -

Before there was James Talarico there was Ann Richards. Two great Texans.

It's no longer perceived worth it because women have more access. The antidote? Take away control of their bodies and their vote.
"In other words, the perceived worth of higher education has waned just as women have begun to outnumber men within it. Is it really a coincidence?"

Edward Hopper is such an interesting artist. He most certainly has a style that is recognizable.

Remember: The real freeloaders in this country are the rich — not the poor or immigrants or any other group of people vilified as scapegoats. The richest 1% evade $163 billion in taxes every year. The United States literally has yacht and private jet tax deductions. Hello?

This! Corporate welfare.

100% this! If someone on food stamps buys a beer who cares! The reason so many are on food stamps is because millionaires/billionaires refuse to pay their employees a living wage.
Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?

This is the gist of it all. Billionaires ruining our country. Dividing our country. They want it all.

The end of slavery has nothing to do with being woke. Enslaving other human beings is wrong. Period.

I was cleaning out old photos today when I came across the American’s creed. I graduated from high school in 1982 and on the evening of my graduation my elected congressman gave me this. He gave one to everybody. He was a republican in the state of Alabama. When I read this today I sat and cried.
