I am practising zero tolerance for this shit. If they use genAI for any part of development, then I don't know how I'm supposed to trust that they aren't using it elsewhere. They keep only being sorry when they get caught, they keep pleading for special exemptions. Just. Don't. Use. It.

1. humans become good at what they practice doing
2. outsourcing to an AI or even other people, means you have stopped doing the thing
3. if you stop doing the thing, you will stop improving, and, long term, get worse at it

i really think genai causes actual brain damage. probably faster than most ways you can on purpose give yourself brain damage. and if you hear this statement as literally as i mean it i think it sounds sorta conspiracy nut, but undeniably less conspiracy nut than the apparent sum of its parts
