In light of UK news, I think it's important that Scotland, NI and Wales are able to determine their own futures in line with Self Determination, and while the UKs territorial integrity is also a very important principle, it does not trump the former. If independence is desired, it should be granted

Once again I am asking why this happens to indie games and not big blockbusters where you can fuck the bear or go to strip clubs. And once again I know the answer
We are aware that Steam has classified Nighthawks as an adult game and has excluded it from searches (and delisted it entirely in certain countries). We are working on it. Valve is under the impression that this game is way sexier than it actually is.

The way people talk about classic video games makes me really sad sometimes. Makes me think about the guy who said that "everything needs to be remade eventually", because I think this is an unspoken/unexplored thought in the minds of many. It's just kind of tragic to me.

“Bad writing” is sadly a common bad faith criticism that people love throwing at Popular Thing, but they never explain why the writing is bad.

Prior to spring of this year, the WoW team, which unionized in 2024, had gotten the lion's share of bargaining time. Other units found themselves stuck in the mud. Higher-ups were effectively stalling the whole process—unfortunately nothing new for unionized workers under Microsoft’s umbrella.
"For this whole year of bargaining on the Diablo side—and I imagine on the rest of the units as well—we received so few [bargaining] dates, but we kind of had the understanding that whatever WoW was able to win would at least influence and set the floor for the rest of our units,” Diablo senior environment artist Mahreen Fatima told Aftermath. “We adopted this messaging about how WoW's wins are our wins, so we should be out there mobilizing with them. But truly, I feel like the company dragged its feet and did a lot of posturing and wasting time until the very, very last moment this last month to finally be able to say, 'OK, yes, we are willing to extend this contract to everyone.'
