I do wish that there was a way to have the more analytical, less brazenly loud and aggressive voices more easily heard. There are things TPC does that I have enjoyed and some I very much have not, but it feels like that sort of modest feedback would be drowned out by the screeching, furious types.

The fan art of a character I really enjoy informed my choice of what I'd name my new cat. (Her name is Caesar and I adore her to bits, even as she's existing as a shadowy blob under my furniture as she gets used to the new place)

I needed some Uni today since I lost my cat today. Thank you Uni.

The thought process whiplash I had seeing this post:

"Odd, I'm not the target demographic for a book like this."

"I have some friends who would probably love this though, I'll check this out for them-"

"Wait... is that Oryx?????"

"Okay definitely recommending the book to friends now lmao"

It's a card I've considered for my Charix equipment deck. Between Improvise spells, Waterbending, and giving my non artifacts Improvise, I wonder what point do they cannibalize each other? How many effects can one run before it is too redundant and doesn't work as well as it should?

Some part of me wants there to be a higher level of education around the dangers and risk factors and how to walk away from gambling as to allow it to exist and not ban it, since banning may make it more popular.

On the other hand, burn it all, gambling is wack.

In much the same way how I refuse to use speedup and save states on my playthrough, as I'm on an emulation run rather than original hardware until I can move my saves onto original hardware. I want any sort of fuck up to feel as punishing as it did back in 1997.

It could just be my experience with playing games on PS1 but I'm so used to thinking, "oh, this era really wanted me to use analogue controls! This was the selling point of the Dualshock 1 and was a big deal!" So I felt like I am compelled to use it.

Honestly when I think of QOL I think of stuff like more refined controls. There's been a few times in my first ever playthrough of FF7 I use the control stick to try to select who to attack and it feels slightly inconsistent, so I feel like I need to use the D-pad. Adjusting that would be nice.
