River Shook opened, I’d been aware of their music but hadn’t gotten the opportunity to get to *know* it, so this was exciting!
It was my introduction to Revelations, a few songs on this record are really gripping me & I don’t know how soon I might’ve heard them if not for this show, so I’m grateful

BJ Barham has this really intense focus on stage, you could see and feel it in his eyes, it was really striking & awesome to see
I’ve always looked up to his activism too. Example, I know about merch fees at venues because of him, valuable knowledge to push back & support artists! That rules!!!

I’ve wanted to see him solo for a long time, Cooley isn’t necessarily the main character at DBT shows for lack of a better way of saying it, so seeing him bounce off the crowd more was fun
