Had to bring one of our cats to the vet again after bringing her Friday (just for blood work prior to dental) and I can't handle her pathetic little mews every time. They sound like kitten mews, not her normal vocalization and she sounds so betrayed :( I wish I could explain to her what's going on.

It's horribly sad that Dolly has left us. Though it's heart warming to see all the good people have to say about her and her legacy, and to see how many lives she touched. RIP to maybe the greatest country music star of all time.

Starting to feel a bit more like myself lately. Working with friends on all sorts of projects, from things I consider myself an "expert" at (done for 10+ years) to things I have never done and know nothing about. On a personal growth note, I think I've taken on enough and will not overload myself.

Lotta peptides/supplements don't work for most people, underperforming placebos even. So instead of subjecting myself to the incalculable risk of injecting substances made in unknown conditions, I'm just telling myself that coke zero provides the same benefits and trying to believe it really hard.

I kept Hank’s back to the camera for that line because that’s the most emotional he gets in the speech, and I just kinda felt like… the audience shouldn’t get to see his face here, we’re not a part of this, it’s a private moment for a man and his best friend.
"..when we lost you.. well, I'm not sure I'm ready to go through something like that again" had me crying both times I watched it, and again just now rewatching the clip to get the wording right. King of the Hill is a beautiful thing.
Slight S15 KotH spoilers, but when I put together the layout for this pet cemetery in episode 02, I asked everyone on the crew for names of pets they wanted to see memorialized because I think real pet names hit different than generic placeholder names I would invent on the spot-

It's pretty funny to watch asoiaf tv show runners constantly fuck up by not just following the source material or listening to its author when it runs out. If I had the greatest resource imaginable available to me, I would simply use it.
