Even when they're not meaning to replace the original, sometimes they kinda still do end up doing that? I never hear anyone talking about the OG TTYD anymore, just the remake, which makes me a little sad even it it was good. But in any case, I'm still happy OoT at least seems to be in good hands.

I think above all though I'm happy it seems like they're doing this remake justice, it seems like a good blend of old and new. I gotta be honest though, it's hard not to feel a little conflicted even about a promising looking remake anymore.

I really enjoy that they still maintain some cartoony-ness despite the high fidelity. The enemies look sick too! The one big problem I had was that fuckass item menu from botw that's so dull and annoying to use. Like OoT had the best menu you could ask for already, what are we doing here?
