The shape or size of my body does not define who I am. Just as you can’t judge a book by its cover, you can’t judge a person by their body, and nudists understand this concept. In a social nudist setting, appearances fade, creating space for the person inside be revealed and amplified.

The fears I had never materialized. I didn’t feel any unwanted gazes & the awkwardness of seeing other naked bodies never came. I felt closer to everyone. We all shared something intimate and vulnerable with each other.

I’ve never had a problem accepting my own body even though it has changed more than once, today I look at myself with more confidence and I know how to take care of it. Although naturism embraces everyone, self-acceptance is often the biggest barrier
