Why is everyone just in it for themselves. 30 senators effectively blocks him. They just don’t want to lose their jobs but there is plenty of time between senate elections imo. He’s gonna screw you over anyway for someone who last flattered him

If you have some magic spell that whisks all this way, please share it. Otherwise everyone I know is focused on the midterms, making sure people are registers and can vote and what we want to do to prevent this again on the other side of this.

Instead of being a condescending asshole, why don’t you suggest something? Should we all pick up pitchforks? Despite one party abdicated the rule of law under our system we are stuck with this until at least the midterms? What am I doing? Trying to talk to people, get them to vote, etc?

Trump can get them primaried out or have his cult nut jobs harass them. He is losing power by the day for the former but can still do the latter Doesn’t make it right. If they stood together against him he’d be SOL. But they are all concerned with saving their own jobs and necks.
