Kudgel is specifically programmed to bump a Kong that's too close with a barrel when he is vulnerable, instead of the player taking damage like normal. The design guides the player toward the solution: throw it!
You can get bumped even without a barrel, revealing this club attack is distinct. #dkc2

This is about the laggiest I know how to make #dkc2, found by happenstance when I took Rattly backwards through Animal Antics. 🐍
It reminds me of similar glitches in DKC3 where loads of sprites are loaded at once, but I don't think I can spawn enough of them here to do things like that!🤔

This is about the laggiest I know how to make #dkc2, found by happenstance when I took Rattly backwards through Animal Antics. 🐍

In Pot Hole Panic, you can spawn so many objects that the game becomes overloaded and new objects can't load. If you use this to get around the barrel and take Squitter into water with 2 Kongs, the game doesn't know how to handle this and crashes similarly to a Knocka #glitch crash. #dkc3

So I found the NSO SNES rewind can render the thumbnail differently depending on whether you go forward or backward in time?? (In the frame where the screen goes dark, a game crashing Knocka glitch activates.)

In this Slime Climb bonus, the Kongs enter the scene by way of a barrel blast for effect. To make this happen, there is an actual blast barrel under the platform. It can be accessed and triggered again and again after the bonus game starts #dkc2 🍌
