I think my great great uncle was still drafted to Niobe in 1914 he transferred from RN to what later became the RCN in 1910
#OTD 1/8/1914 #RememberRCN -With war eminent, all RCN personnel are recalled from leave and HMCShips NIOBE & RAINBOW are ordered to prepare for operational duty.
