Feminist theory remains undefeated in explaining the weirdest parts of the Trump administration.

I'm just going to keep posting this skeleton-key-to-MAGA passage, written over 40 years ago, until everyone gets it.

The main way in which AI has negatively impacted games industry jobs is not through actual automation of those jobs or even untrue claims about automation. It's by making capital unavailable because it's tied up in AI investments while also destroying the consumer base for video game hardware.

My hopes were real high for the new Will Sheff album, and after the new single I’m FUCKING PUMPED!

If this is the only good song on the album I’ll still be a happy man. It’s that good.

He writes: "Patience is the enemy now" and we have to stop asking people for it.

This article is from 2024 but it's a reminder of just how awful the Atlantic has been. This week it was blaming liberals for defending humane immigration, in the past it was ... Kissinger whitewashing?

Just seems like one L after another.

i don't care about any arguments against this. right now the sum total of my political advocacy is: crush the Republicans and make them pay. i don't care what comes after because until we do that nothing better is possible.
New York Dems are reportedly still expected to push for a constitutional amendment that would let them redraw the congressional map in 2028 to counter GOP gerrymanders. Dems could target 3-4 seats currently held by GOP.

Dems must pass it both in 2026 & 2027, then win voter approval in November 2027

MAGA, at its core, is a cult of abuse. The right to abuse, the justification for abuse, the dopamine rush they get from abusing others, is built into every policy, every program, every line of rhetoric. They identify with abusers because they want to abuse people.
