I feel like my empathy has never been in short supply, but my eyes are open to my friends family & community with chronic conditions in a way that I could never really have understood before. Especially everyone out there on the steroid ride i am temporarily living with.

I have been sick for a few months now. Not like ill, just a lingering cold. Then I woke up one morning recently and just couldn't breathe. I got to spend a few days in a hospital and am now experiencing the joys of modern medicine in a whole new way.
