i'll NEVER forget that the reason i tried league of legends for the 1st time was cuz' i thought it was a music-fighting game. they kept posting songs and well, i love songs!! and when heartsteel came out, i thought, "ok, i choose this faction. oh, they have different bands like 'faerie court' etc.!"

it just really frustrates me that artists are expected to spoonfeed and there is never an expectation that audiences learn to use the spoon themselves. i know that's something that would be hard to change at this point though 🫠

everyone wants to tell artists what to do and i wish we could shift to telling audiences what to do sometimes. if you liked webcomics that were on tapas, follow somewhere else. learn to use RSS. don't let the seamlessness of apps turn your brain into soup. you can change your habits
