I agree with this in the macro scale, but I do think that killing 3 of the snowballiest 1/2 drops of the format was good for the format. I think this general "lets just shake it up" strategy sends a bad message to players though.

The edge on the right is a little roughed up on the Force. I bet its rhe same thing with the top edge of the polyraptor here haha. I think most people who are playing magic are super permissive on grading bc if its sleeve playable we're good lol

For a few weeks I think. The best card to play it with (boomerang basics) is also the best card at killing the token it comes with, so that's a pretty rough tension

Planisphere kinda does, and makes a body too. I wish these cards had a constructed home bc theyre just a little too clunky for anything other than limited environments rn

Ian the Reckless was kinda cracked, it went late but when I got it to work it felt super strong

Final "for fun" draft was a 100 ornithopters draft for a couple of rounds. I played a boring counters deck and had a ball.

Draft 2 was @theintegers.bsky.social 's graveyard cube. This is one of my favorite cubes and the new strixhaven additions were lots of fun. 2-1, lost to the 3-0 lol. I swapped yawg out a lot for Altar of Dementia.

Draft 1 was @heretic-cathar.bsky.social 's tempo cube. My favorite kind of magic, tight games with cheap threats and good interaction. I don't think I drafted well though, 2-1, lost to the 3-0
