This whole LSU situation feels like the run-up to the Iraq war, where everybody on all sides knows it’s all bullshit but can’t back down without looking weak and feels obliged to go through the motions regardless of where it leads.

Also on #HailState - great to see JJ Hill get in the game. 7 carries for 118 yards and 2 TD’s, all in the 4th quarter. I saw him play a few times last year for Tupelo High and couldn’t believe MSU ended up signing the kid. Gonna be a star.

Just got home from Mississippi State - ULM. New school record for offense, Kamario Taylor looks as advertised, OL looks improved, WR and RB talent is deep. Questions on D line persist. On to Minnesota.

Mississippi State. Yeah it’s ULM, but the first drive went just about perfectly. O-line gave Taylor plenty of time and he was on the money - good sign hopefully.
