Looking forward to his next announcement of Liberty being the premier destination for O-4s to complete their ILE time.
Secretary Hegseth announced this afternoon that DOD will cease ALL graduate study by military personnel at universities including MIT, all the Ivies, Stanford, etc because such schools teach "the enemy's wicked ideology" to officers.

People should watch Altuve when he's on base or holding someone on 2nd. Opposing players always smiling and joking with him - he's adored by everyone who actually plays the game, other than the Yankees and Dodgers, entitled franchises known to be amongst the worst of the sign stealers in the 2010s
I have been vocal for Whitaker for years. People need to get over Altuve. He's going in. Players don't take that stuff half as seriously as a minority of fans, because players steal signs.
I am a Phillies fan & love Chase, but - like Black Sox Jose Altuve - I don't want to see him anywhere near the Hall of Fame until Sweet Lou Whitaker, of the WAR higher than Derek Jeter, finally gets his unforgivably long (over)due.

The major will be lecturing the generals on:
- why company command is overrated
- actually you don't need to try Ranger School as an infantry officer
- Half a pushup is just as good as a full pushup
This is going to end up being the most pointless and expensive "this meeting could have been an email" in history.

GWOT rotted the brains of not only a large number of people who participated in it, but also quite a few who didn't.

in this same audio, Manfred was asked why the diversity pipeline was scrubbed from MLB's website. this was his answer:

Luhnow was hung out to dry after a deal between Manfred and Jim Crane to find a scape goat. The sign stealing was being done by Cora and Beltran, and Cora has been completely forgiven for some unknown reason. It’s important to realize who was responsible for what.
Luhnow should have had a more severe penalty. Beltran is suffering it, being kept out of the Hall of Fame. But this business of wanting to ban a manager for encouraging sign stealing, what sport are you people watching?
Hinch and the other Astros conspirators should have been banned for life

Add a 2-4 day with another HR and another 2 RBIs
I have long said it is dangerous to boo Altuve. In two games in Los Angeles he is 4-for-7 (2B, 3B, 2 HR), 4 R, 6 RBI, 2 BB.

He’s been doing this for 5 seasons now since the “scandal” became news. Hears the most vile crap imaginable, and still hits on the road like the HOFer he is. One of the best to ever play the game, no matter what the QAnon “he was wearing a wire” crybabies in NY and LA say.

One of the best out there, and was incredibly gracious with her time when I asked for help integrating ethics into the curriculum for our senior Army ROTC cadets.
Seven years ago, Pauline Shanks Kaurin left a good job as a tenured professor, uprooted her family, and moved to teach military ethics at the Naval War College. Now she's leaving in protest of policies she can't support and that make her job impossible.
