I asked some friends of mine to do a few lines of my poem ‘Ode To Square Chapel’ in support of my quest to help #SaveSquareChapelArts in Halifax.
Without hesitation… they all chipped in. 🙌
It’s what friends are for.
Please re-post if you enjoy! x

The cogs are still turning in my attempt to put #SquareChapelArts (Halifax) back on its feet. 🙏🏻
I’m flabbergasted by the offers of support & levels of backing I’m receiving.
What sort of society are we if we fail to champion the arts & culture?
Thanks, you good people.
Stay tuned!

I’m going for a viewing at #SquareChapelArtsCentre Halifax tomorrow, to see what state it’s in after it fell into darkness.
Even if I’m unable to save it (& I’d dearly love to) let’s hope there’s some kindly, art-loving benefactor out there who cares enough about it to do so! 🙏🏻 🤞 🙌

I would love to breathe new life into this little gem… but I NEED funding!
I may well eventually turn to you good people, but if there’s an arts-loving benefactor out there who fancies putting their shirt on a passionate, highly-qualified player, then do give me a shout.🙏🏻
Please RT, folks! x

Oh my… if only I had the money (or the backing) I’d buy this place (adjacent to The Piece Hall in Halifax)
& run it as Artistic Director.
I was once its Patron.
A jewel in Yorkshire’s magnificent crown, please someone rescue/revive this little diamond. 💎 🙏🏻

Hi everyone, I'd like to ask if you have any contacts who might require design, copywriting, marketing, or other creative solutions for small businesses. Please drop me a PM if you know of people, as I'm trying to find ways to remain a freelancer. I know it's a longshot, but I really appreciate it

Brilliant news for those who give a sh*t about animals!
Say what you want about this Labour govt, but they are introducing "the biggest animal welfare reforms in a generation". The tories did virtually nothing for 14 yrs for animals.

My wish for this/any platform, is that we might all attempt to see the best in each other (and life) & find enough commonality to get along together.
Contrary to some people’s opinion, the last thing I want is to create enemies & friction.
Less hate… more understanding. 👍
