Yesterday during my early morning walk, I looked up in the dark sky and saw the twinkling blue star. It's still amazing to me how we can see the past by just looking up. It also reminds me that we are just a speck of dust. Humanity needs more humility because of that fact.

Somehow, the very first haiku I wrote more than six years ago still resonates today. I wrote this at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic because of the failure of the Orange Turd's first occupation of the WH. Now, that ineptitude seems pale in comparison with the shit show we're facing now.
