A 2007 case study of a man's real symptoms, when convinced he'd overdosed on the test drug, was attributed to the Nocebo effect when he was instantly cured on learning he'd taken sugar pills.
A more likely (IMO) theory of severe panic attack has been proposed.

A man who overdosed on trial pills felt sure he was dying, until he found out he was in the placebo arm. But it was not a nocebo effect.

Ive been given a travel size tube of Gutology toothpaste.
I was expecting an overpriced non fluoride toothpaste, & was surprised by how clean and natural it makes my teeth /mouth feel. You need less on your brush so its not as expensive as it first looks. Well worth a try for your mouth microbiome.

In addition to using pre chopped veg and chopped frozen veg, I've developed a cooking technique that reduces standing over a pan of food as much as possible. Now I find out it has a name. Smothering.
So here's a smothered recipe from Sophie Grigson. Its delicious.

Trying to work out what caused a new reaction? Did you check stacking?
Eg sorbitol causing diarrhoea.
Apples previously fine, few cherries, no probs. That small plum.. OK , but eating all 3 in a short space of time instead of 2g sorbitol you might be eating 5-10g
Histamine can stack like this too.
