NEW: Trump is expected to amplify false claims of widespread fraud in the 2020 election in a prime-time address Thursday.

His claims may rely on soon-to-be-declassified intel that will purportedly show irregularities in the five-and-a-half-year-old contest, which he lost by over 7 million votes.

The address is likely aimed at accelerating his multi-pronged campaign to restrict the right to vote before the midterms.

What Platner is doing right now is trying to ignite an intra-party nuclear exchange, so that he can tell the Maine Democrats that THE PEOPLE will not accept anything but him or his designated successor.

This is the kind of thing Trump would do.

Stop bothsidesing. Stop getting up in your feelings about all the failings of “the two party system”. There’s only one party that cares anything about this country and doing what’s right no, they aren’t perfect. But if they are in power we can effect better changes from a better starting point.
Grow up people. General elections in the US are an enormously consequential binary choice between which of two candidates and parties will best lead the country.

Your job as a citizen is to choose between the two. Anything else is pure wankery. If you don't choose, others will do it for you.

And I can tell you, as a former Republican, that the GOP counts on that, and actively promotes cultural hot-button issues to bait Democrats into fighting among themselves. Works like a charm.
Pragmatism is an anathema to many progressives who believe withholding their vote is a way to express their anger that their minority views are not adopted. This, of course, elects Republicans who would never win otherwise. Republicans always vote for Republicans despite any disagreement.

Is there someone dead in the lobby or is there someone in custody? Was the person armed or not? Did he make it into the ballroom or not? Usually there should be a pretty wide grace period on finding this out, but there are literally hundreds of reporters in the room and nobody knows shit.

Correction: The redistricting scheme was always a power grab by Republicans.

And evidently, voters are not happy about it. That's why they turned out to vote "Yes" on Virginia's counter plan — to protect their own voices as Trump tries to drown them out. https://bit.ly/4mJbgQh

Donald Trump is killing real schoolgirls in Iran and kidnapping and murdering real Americans in the streets. Interesting that the only thing he’s done that went “too far” for MAGA was an *imaginary* image. What a ridiculous world we live in.

Millions of Americans are struggling to afford rent, groceries, and gas in Trump's crumbling economy.

How is Trump responding? By fighting legal challenges to his ballroom and unveiling plans for a 250-foot "Arc de Trump" — which could be financed by millions in taxpayer funds.

Priorities.

A reminder for all the pearl clutching Republicans who’ve suddenly decided that sexual misconduct is a red line…

Long before he was found liable of sexual abuse (which he was), your guy bragged openly about grabbing women by the pussy.

And you made him president.

Hey media--

Pam Bondi is not a victim -- she willingly carried out Trump's political agenda to prosecute his political enemies and undermine free and fair elections.

Todd Blache is not shouldering a "burden" or "walking a tightrope." He is a willing accomplice.

Language matters.
