This Juno Buck Moth Caterpillar sure looks pretty. But those spines are venomous … just like so many other creatures around here. lol, Arizona is the Australia of the U.S. in this regard.

Just yesterday I was a Ramsey Canyon Preserve here in Sierra Vista Arizona and got to see and photograph this occupied Violet-crowned Hummingbird nest.

Last week I got a really good deal on a "like new" condition Sony a6000 camera. This morning the TTArtisans 25mm F2.0 manual focus lens I intend to use on it arrived. These are the first couple of test shots. Not bad for a $65 lens on a $200 camera. 😎 #flowers #bloomscrolling

We had some really interesting weather the other night here in Sierra Vista, Arizona. It's not very often we get a tornado warning issued by the National Weather Service. Turns out it was just strong mid-level rotation. But still a pretty cool storm.
