They are so damn good. Their lyrics are also 🔥. Climate anxiety is a topic they return to often, along with more general anarcho / anti-fascist stuff.

lol, was looking for more Frog Mallet content and saw that you’ve been enjoying them for quite a while. 🐸🔨

I think my relationship with Malört started this way but then after a handful of shots I gaslit myself into actually liking it?!

The vibes feel bad this year. Maybe the saddest 4th in memory?

That album is so good! The last one they did, “The Fleeting Light of Impermanence” has really grown on me over time. What a fantastic band.

I live in the US but most of my team is in Europe. I can’t imagine not being able to get relief via AC with temps that high 😭😭. I was literally telling people to just take the day off without recording it as a day off all week. Nobody wants to work in that kind of heat.

This made me love ULTHA even more!

It’s disconcerting how many people in the industry are either falling for the grift or along for the ride. I’ve seen software engineers slide into AI psychosis who I never would have thought were susceptible to it.

The pervasiveness of anthropomorphic language around it makes it extra slippery

Some not son, lol

Son fuzzy black metal adjacency here but definitely worth mentioning. Conjurer & Pijn’s collab “Curse These Metal Hands” is so dang uplifting. The track High Spirits is delightful.

Oooh nice. Make sure you hit the EP between the first two albums as well, I think it’s called In Chrysalis.
