Really, if a political leader screws something up as badly as Trump's war on Iran, everyone shoud be asking them to resign in shame.

EVERY potential reform is dependent on whether African Americans in the South have representation in Congress proportionate to the numbers in their states' population. White power in the South is the foundation of all reactionary power in the USA.

The Trump administration is teaching us so much. (1) More friends and neighbors are immigrants, and some undocumented, than white people think. (2) all hopes for any progressive reform depend whether African American people in the South are justly represented in the US House. Solidarity !

If you think that the GOP will steal the midterms, all the more reason to urge people to vote. Who would protest a stolen election they didn’t vote in? Or should we passively accept a stolen election?

I think that we are probably closer to impeachment than a 25th amendment end. Only a few Republicans have to vote for impeachment (not unprecedented) for it to pass. Removal would be harder. But just impeachment would be an escalation.

My completely outside-the-loop prediction. This war against Iran will not end until some amount of Iranian oil is seized somewhere (Kharg island or on the high seas) and sold, and the proceeds placed in some "development fund" until the control of Trump -- like the outcome in Venezuela. My guess.

Reminder that everyone of these ICE agents are on the federal payroll. Any congressional committee could subpoena their names, addresses, social security information, and probably their bank information. Their masks are temporary; the documents are permanent. Accountability will come.

MTG was driven out of politics by the Trump and the MAGA movement. First, terroristic threats against her from anonymous sources. Second, a threat to mount a well-financed primary candidate. She did what other non-MAGA GOP reps have done: get out as soon as it made financial sense for her.

The far left is not interested in winning. The far left's goal in mass movements is to search for the most militant or radical of those who are being mobilized to recruit them into their tiny organizations. They are looking for a few comrades, not a lot of coalition partners.
Let this moment be a wakeup call to stop taking some of the far-left seriously.
