Letter Carriers nationwide should walk out in protest.

Moving forward there must be harsh accountability for every person involved in this crime against the people.

It must be nice living a gilded life, turning your eyes away from what’s happening to society.
From my last few weeks living in Portland: a lovely patio dinner downtown, a free music festival in a clean park full of manicured gardens, a dance party on the river, a beautiful park adjacent to dense affordable housing where I go every day and have never seen a piece of garbage out of place tbh

Democrats became great by fighting the far left—and today’s party can learn crucial lessons from those battles, David Brooks argues:
Democrats Became Great By Fighting the Left
In the DSA era, liberals need to remember their history and fight for their values.

This is part of the smash and grab robbery the 1% are committing against the rest of us.
This is BIG. After spending over $1 BILLION on the purchase of multiple commercial warehouses that ICE planned to convert into the largest jails/prisons in the nation, ICE is now largely abandoning the idea and will aim to sell off multiple warehouses at a loss.
NEW — I wanted to know if ICE’s newly
uncovered plan to offload seven of the 11 concentration camp warehouses was actually a big deal, so I went straight to the expert: Michael Wriston of @projectsaltbox.com, which has been tracking these warehouses every step of the way.

This!! I demand accountability for everyone participating in this.
In countries that have successfully reversed democratic backsliding in recent years—from Poland in 2023 to Hungary in 2026—opposition movements made prosecuting those who have broken laws a central campaign issue.

Polling in WA05 shows an ind leading the incumbent, all the dems fall behind. I wonder if this tracks with what @gelliottmorris.com is seeing in the district. The Ind is an AOC/Bernie, Fight the Oligarchy type and I am thrilled. This is the Revolution I want! 😁

To Trump, affordability is just a word people use to attack him.

He has no idea what it’s like to be forced to choose between buying food or medicine. Or being told affordable housing is $1050 a month for an old motel room.
Trump: "They said, 'affordability!' They're good at words. But I'm good at words too. But they hit me with affordability. They hit me with eggs."

Shocked to find the local party office filled with people yesterday, it was Womack Wednesday phone/text banking for a congressional candidate.

I keep finding evidence David Womack is building a people powered movement to win WA05 this year.
