Models won’t matter; all that matters is superintelligence, and that needs more gigawatts than we have on the roadmap. Well said Xiaoyin!

If you’re concerned about your token quota, tell your agents that you’re concerned about your token budget. For regular business users, this tends to solve 90% of their quota issues.

Shout out to Africa bringing the global game to World Cup - Morocco, South Africa, Ivory Coast, Cape Verde, Egypt, Ghana, and also hard work by Tunisia and Senegal. I've been inspired by all the stories.

People who predict labor shortages underestimate the output of planetary superintelligence.

Domain experts delegating to neural nets are the most productive - by the numbers.

The below report can feed into work plans for projects in all sectors to help tune estimates for labor FTEs and their associated token budgets.

Leaders, executives, shareholders - it's time to restart the apprenticeship programs.

Management needs to invest in generational thinking, especially in a new world of ambient superintelligence.

The defining characteristic of superintelligence is incomprehensibility.

We all live with incomprehensible intelligence everyday - I am bewildered by oil painters and airplane pilots, and that's okay.

We will not comprehend ASI. We can't physically lift that much weight.

The future of software is live and on demand.

Reports, workflows, CRUD apps, dashboards… all generated in the moment and discarded when the job is done.

Gen Z and Gen Alpha - do not give up on university education. It's too expensive, too resort-like, and may not jumpstart your career. But your mind is rewired by master educators, tough study material, and brutal exams. The tension cannot be mimicked. Don't go for the money. Go for your non-AI mind.

For 20 years, SaaS companies packaged predictive models as products.

Soon, every company will have AI researchers building custom forecasting, pricing, inventory, and customer models on demand.

XGBoost and LightGBM aren't the moat anymore.

“We spent too much on tokens!”

Token spend will be 8% of net sales, at least. Get used to it.

Root cause is always leadership: you didn’t lead the team to an AI native outcome.

Argentina has anti-sentience policy: "Artificial intelligences do not possess the subjective experience that constitutes human consciousness."

a new paper on mind, computation, and identity in large language models. with inspiration from raymond carver (title) and severance (thought experiments).

This is the future of artificial sentience.

All the noise around LLM sentience will fade away when we are facing mammal scale neuromorphic architectures.

This is an exponential growth area with zero government regulation.

Imagine that the first instant of AI suffering doesn’t occur until 2080, long after biocomputing reaches mammalian scale and neural structures are unambiguously correlated to consciousness.

Does that mean we should do nothing now in 2025?

We have scalable suffering on the roadmap, what do we do?

A decent percentage of users resist models being deactivated.

Today, it’s chat. Tomorrow, it’ll be video calls with deceased loved ones in HD. Turning off models will be perceived as a second death.

There are three dominant timelines for the arrival of AI sentience: Von Neumann, neuromorphic, or organoid.

Which one do you think is most likely?
