I disappeared for a bit, but I’m finally back. Missed this place and all of you, what’s everyone been up to?

I love when a random idea starts as “this would be kinda cool” and somehow turns into an entire character, story, world, and 37 tabs open on my browser 😭

Writing update:

I had a perfectly normal plan for my story today.

My characters had other plans.

I think I'm being held hostage by my own plot 😭

okay, I'm finally doing it.

the first chapter of the little Bellweather story is up today.

it's about a town, an old tradition, and a few things that probably shouldn't be happening.

I'm very attached to this one already

small writing victory today:

I actually wrote down an idea instead of just thinking "I'll remember it" and immediately forgetting it 10 minutes later 😭

anyway, my notes app is still a disaster.

Do you guys write better in complete silence or with music? I swear I need the most dramatic playlist possible just to write 500 words 😂
