Enjoying my new echo chamber
Clippers basically stole Kawhi away from Raptors by circumventing the cap - so please spare me the "ill be rooting against the Raptors" crap.

Its weirdo behaviour and the guy who truly fucked you over still owns the team.

Of course a degenerate gambling addicted weirdo thinks this.

Sports as slot machines are his dream.
Why play the matches at all?

It’s one thing to criticize a slow sport that drags on, but that’s not tennis.

Everybody is in a damn hurry to sim to the end.

I wonder why?
Bill Simmons thinks tennis matches are too long. After seeing Ben Shelton beat Carlos Alcaraz at 3:30 a.m. ET, he's probably right.

Wild decision - trying their best to get me to give up on the league.
“The WNBA will not institute a league-wide ban on Freedom, according to a source with knowledge of the decision.” They are trying to lose me and it’s going to work the way this is going.

I never believe any celebrity about anything, really, except for Dolly Parton. One of the very few true voices for good, an example for all of us of putting your money where your mouth is. Ridiculous that we have to lose her while all these failure piles of humans are still around.

Hot take? Maybe?

I will never get another dog bigger than a Chihuahua.

Less food.
Less exercise.
Less room.
Less poop.
Lighter to carry.
Live for ages.

...With all the other benefits of normal- or large-sized breeds. Except maybe personal protection ...and honestly, arguable.

Personally, as a trans person who is a long-time WNBA fan, y'all gotta stop worrying about this.

There's nothing you can do about shitty people being shitty. Stand on business, defend trans people, don't let the bigots think they are normal or right or accepted. The rest is out of your control.
something i’ve been thinking about is whether or not there’s a way to rightfully condemn anti-trans comments by people with a public profile without elevating their celebrity/importance + serving them on a platter to the right wing media ecosystem. the cycle is painfully disturbing and predictable.

Way too many people I respect continue to use the right-wing sex pervert site, and it's really getting disheartening.

I know you don't have to look far to find examples of "enshitification" in this hellscape, but a niche example that destroys me is:

Bob's Burgers is no longer doing Halloween/Christmas/Thanksgiving episodes because streaming services don't like them.

Maybe the world is healing?

We are back to the Raptors being underrated again. It's been awhile!

Not sure how a team that added Kawhi is ranked lower than a team they almost beat in the first round while missing 2 starters.

I'd be so ashamed to talk about 'meddling in race" and "spending money" when I take millions upon millions from AIPAC.
Trump’s hand-picked candidate just admitted it: He’d prefer to face Abdul in November. It’s also why Republicans are meddling in our race and spending money on my opponent’s behalf.

We can’t afford to lose this seat and give MAGA Republicans another vote in the Senate come November.

Thing I keep thinking about the Kawhi/Jaylen trades: How much would the Raptors and Sixers have needed to give up in separate deals just to shed the contracts of BI/Gradey & PG (who, admittedly, was useful in the playoffs)?

Both teams did that while adding star wings.
July 2, 2026 at 1:22 PM
If I were the Raptors FO, I'd have no problem walking away from a Kawhi deal.

I love the idea of a reunion, but if LAC are going to play hardball, they can sign the constantly injured 35-year-old for 60 million a year.
