#rawrt month prompt was outer expanse. i went for an ornate rug. i'd love to have an actual #rainworld rug like this, can you imagineeee. i had to make up a demonym for the citizens who would have lived in the facility, so i went with pebblan.

my friends and i had a lil (3 person) book club in 2024. one of them picked practical magic as her pick. she graduated college in 2025, so i used my copy to create this piece as a gift. #art #sorry

dude lol the "long story" (for bsky) is: my friend gave me hurricane mix - i had the whole nearly-full 2-liter bottle of it before realizing it wasn't only juice, like i thought. it had rum already in it. the #rwart prompt for this was "mushrooms" - in #rainworld there are hidden movement mechanics that can greatly help your navigating the world. it's so much easier to perform these with the slow-mo effects of mushrooms. the moral is... do drugs. #art

this was a huge undertaking- you can peep the making of pics and reference in the replies. this is one of my favs from the #rwart challenge. the prompt was general systems bus, which is a part of a supercomputer character in #rainworld
black paper artwork. on the base layer there are white ink letters and symbols. above that layer are seafoam green strings running at 90 degree angles across the page from both top to bottom and left to right. they are clearly glued at the edges. the next layer is black paper circles. the edges of the circles are painted the same seafoam green as the strings. one of the circles has a number of strings that cascade toward the bottom of the page and lay on top of some of the other circles. the last layer consists of thick braids of red string. the red string tangles and winds around haphazardly. the red strings appear to terminate and begin inside of the seafoam borders.
