Some exciting personal news—I won reelection to my local library board of trustees! I’m grateful to my community for their trust and the opportunity to continue serving.

it's so exhausting to have nobody talking about in the media or otherwise about how much harder it has gotten to exist in society as a trans person. i gotta worry about peeing at the airport. i know people who won't go get their drivers license updated and you're joking about pronouns

“I’ve only lived so much life, but most of that adult life was spent as a Republican trying to push what I was always told were Republican principles,” Evans told MS NOW. “And now, still believing all those principles, I find myself at odds with a lot of people I thought I understood.”
Trump’s anti-trans crusade is tearing apart the conservative LGBT community
As it falls in line with the president, the conservative LGBT movement has cast aside some transgender supporters, along with its mission of inclusivity.

Like the hypocrisy and the open corruption, the naked, brazen lying is itself aspiring authoritarianism.

They aren't lying to cover anything up. They're saying, "We know we're lying. You know we're lying. And we know you know we're lying. And there's nothing you can do about it."
BASH: But it peeled off. Why did that happen?

BURGUM: It didn't peel off. There was vandalism. There was box cutters. There have been 7 arrests.

BASH: There are photographs of people cutting a 350 foot gash in the reflecting pool?

BURGUM: Dana, I'm not sure why you keep questioning it

We're looking at at least 2 more procedures for my little buddy :(

I found out yesterday afternoon.
Hello, my cat Samwise had a $500 vet bill earlier this week and needs to have a procedure done later this month. I don't really have that kind of wiggle room in my budget, so I would appreciate it if you'd consider becoming a paid subscriber to my newsletter.

SAUER: Ah, I think ... so. I have to think that through.

Today is Trans Day of Visibility.

Visibility is powerful—but it’s not always easy. Speak up when it’s uncomfortable. Challenge harmful narratives. Protect and uplift trans voices—not just today, but every day. Visibility without support isn’t enough; real solidarity means action.
