@smerconish.bsky.social Regarding TSA funding, one solution proposed by Dems, but rejected, was funding TSA separately. So it’s both Ds & Rs who want the pain at the airports.
Also why not pull TSA out of Homeland Security? Put it in Transportation. We have other security outside HS.

If I was a writer, I think I’d write a an alternative history in which Ross Perot became President, govt worked correctly & we weren’t spending 25% of our budget on debt expense.
