Harvested the rest of my garlic today. 🧄 Who knew three little heads of seed garlic would turn into all of this? Now it gets to spend the next three weeks curing in a cool, dark place

BGB (beautiful garlic bulb) alert @bostongayboy.bsky.social Last August, my neighbor gave me seed garlic & told me exactly how to plant it. Followed her instructions to a T, she recently texted, “Time to dig it up.” This was my first bulb! I’ve never grown garlic before, pretty proud of the result.

I have celiac disease, so gluten and I are in a long-term toxic relationship. I refuse to give up lasagna though, and these noodles are so good nobody can ever tell the difference when I serve it. My ricotta layer brings all the boys to the yard.

Turns out planting a pumpkin patch is cheaper than paying $7 a pop at the farmers market. 🎃💸 First harvest, and I’m just getting started.
