At least a couple of our members are celebrating birthdays this month, so let's build a party!
Any size, any style, just make it fun!
Our usual blue baseplate with a rainbow border of quarter-rounds with white tiles spelling out "Birthday Party Build Challenge". The dot on the "i" in birthday is a star. There is a build of a small cake in tan with magenta icing, medium azure candle, and a relatively large flame. A few yellow-orange square 1x1 tiles are placed around like confetti.

The next TrickyLug Build Challenge is to build an island that could go in our collab for Brickworld! The theme is Princesses of the Caribbean.

It could just be a natural looking island or it could have something Disney/piratey going on! Have fun and build with us!

Our next meeting will be Saturday, April 4th via Zoom. We were originally scheduled for Sunday, but that's Easter Sunday.

We will, however, keep the build challenge intended for Sunday which is also National Read a Road Map Day!

Instead of a seed part, our challenge is to use a seed color! Feature the transparent blue colors prominently in your build for our March 7th meeting.

Our next Zoom meeting will be Nov. 1st, which is National Bison Day and National Cook for Your Pets Day.

The next TrickyLug meeting will be 9/6, which is "National Read a Book Day" in the US, so we challenge you to build something book-related!

Build a scene from your local library, a pop-up book, a pair of bookends, a mosaic of your favorite book cover, or whatever book-related thing inspires you!

Reminder that we're doing a TrickyLUG-only draft at Chicago - set 40708 Mini Ariel's Castle. Kara has two extra sets available for purchase but otherwise you'll have to bring one or swing by the LEGO store. We're thinking that early Friday evening - like 6pm or 7pm - might be a great time for it?
