At some point we have to stop pulling people out of the dangerous river to save them and go ask why are they jumping in to begin with.

I have some friends from college who post on Instagram like “it’s time for revolution and the end of capitalism” buddy you’re a therapist in San Francisco come the fuck on
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again if you say you want a revolution and somehow that revolution means you have potable water the whole time and minorities have their rights respected you are an idiot
I really love how cool and totally chill these people think a revolution would be. And that their chances of outright failure or for a similar or worse power filling the vacuum are minimal.
