First snow of the year and I’m already stuck in it, too far from work to abandon the car and walk. My students may not be so happy…

I was told today by a colleague (history department) that I shouldn’t teach historic cartoons because “They do not reflect historical reality. As such, I don’t think they should be used as sources.” They are only “propaganda” after all. Ehm okay. As opposed to what exactly? #objectivity #History

Daylight Saving Time is increasingly hard to notice when my digital devices are like, "What? Nothing happened. We know what time it is."

And my stove is left blinking and screaming, "IT HAPPENED! TIME SHIFTED UNNATURALLY! THEY'RE ALL LYING! ONLY I KNOW! ONLY I REMEMBER!"

Any thoughts on the looming end of strike action in Hollywood and the deal about to be struck?

I am to recommend a workgroup class… for teens. I’m stuck. I do miss the clarity of teaching at Uni…

This weekends I took a lovely path through the forest to clear my rambling brain’s clutter a bit. New semester - more brain clutter… lol. So maybe I need more hiking. 🤷🏻‍♀️
