I don't like that GTA is big enough for Rockstar to commission a bunch of famous artists to make original songs for the GTA6 soundtrack. I prefer the GTA5 approach where the pop station is 50% songs that were only huge hits in the UK.

Crazy how Carly Rae Jepsen is a perfect artist and has been for years and yet people still sleep on her.

I'm not kidding when I say this. But if Dark Souls or Elden Ring were more traditionally dialogue heavy role playing games, they'd sound exactly like this. I'm not sure there's a version of fire emblem that doesn't have this to some degree, but it does seem egregious in this entry.
Fire Emblem spoilers, I guess. After 50 hours of propernoun plotslop, this is what broke me. If this doesn't affect you like it does me, then have at it. It is relentless, though.

I have empathy for people with less patience for Japanese dialogue tropes than I do, but I'm like an hour into the game and yet everything in this clip makes sense for me. On the Proper Noun scale, Fire Emblem isn't even halfway towards a Kingdom Hearts or the average Xeno series game.

People love to throw around "Focus M" as a stand in for any overbearing tutorial/quest dialogue, but I always took the joke of that video to be the forced banter being used to make a glorified quest marker sound more naturalistic.

I truly hate to do the whole "well I never liked them anyway" routine but the best thing about Pink and Ed Sheeran showing their ass is just how easy it is for me to continue not listening to either of them

They can say it's financial issues but it's really hard not to see it as a symptom of just how right wing our culture has gotten. It's so depressing and scary.
