Not sure what it says about me that aside from the great pup, the first thing I notice is The Martian on the bookshelf behind said pup.

Can confirm dogs hate it. We got it right before having our first child for the purpose of picking up the dog hair without needing to do it ourselves daily. It’s been in the closet unused for years and I just vacuum myself daily. 🤦🏾‍♂️

I have a Roomba. It’s stupid. Often gets itself stuck under the table. Might be useful in a large open space or if the newer ones are less stupid.
