I'm in my 40s and I don't get the 6-7 thing but it's 100% the same nonsense we had when I was a kid.
Let them have their skibidi rizzes or whatever. Don't treat them the way the older generations treated you for yelling "eat my shorts" or "cowabunga".

the 6-7 phenomenon is in no way different from any other catchphrase that kids have yelled out at any point in the last hundred years, there's no daylight between that and when i was in high school, the year straight where every guy kept yelling "i'm rick james bitch"

I have definitely not been caught by the bug of a certain new streaming movie, definitely didn't listen to the soundtrack on repeat during my commutes to the con this weekend (1.5 hours 1 way), and definitely didn't immediately start drawing the main characters.
