Their players in every single position except for GK and possibly Saka are objectively better than ours. Hopefully it’s a true underdog smash and grab, but it rarely ever is at this level and in the Champs Liga

Every year I try to revel in the delight that is ‘Europe’ and the Champions League and then I’m reminded of the officiating differences. Every single touch is a foul, every handball is given under all circumstances, everything is so slow and constantly stopping. Overrated competition

How their ‘pen’ is given and there’s no doubt but a player trodding on another’s foot isn’t the same level of doubt? The rules are so broken in this competition. Both shouldn’t be pens. But we all know of At. Madrid get that Eze one, it’s staying given

Look at our front four that started, the four we ended with and the players missing. We’re a long long long way off having even half the quality of the truly good teams in Europe. City’s front four they added to in Jan to help make it better. That’s where it all starts. We lack attack

We’ve been bad for the majority of the season. Injuries or not, this is abysmal football. Dire team to watch in a dire situation. It’s now mathematically out of our hands which is terrifying. An overhaul of squad needs to happen because we lack quality in the front third that truly great teams have

Another collapse at the end of the year, injuries are no longer an excuse. This was a poor team selection and they played with fear. This squad lack technical ability and is too easy to hold in their defensive half. Another runners up medal
