Lots of cultures believe(d) that disabled people are sacred or to be honored. Even “western” civilizations had respect. Was reminded that in the 1300s, it was believed that sick/poor people were considered closer to God. The plague changed that perception.

I will vote for anyone who gets on a stage and says "We will arrest these ICE agents and hold them accountable." I don't want to hear about investigations or truth and reconciliation, I want day one arrests and detainment until the end of their trials at minimum.

DOJ has charged Wilber Garcés with felony assaulting, resisting, or impeding a federal officer, based on the allegation he struck an ICE officer with his sideview mirror when driving off after the initial traffic stop.

I walked down to the 24hour shop at 3am and a guy walking past said "Don't worry, I'm not going to beat you up" in a friendly way, and I replied "Yeah, I know" in a friendly way, and that rooted him to the spot in complete bewilderment.

I've worked at a university for years and so I've been trained and refreshed on it many times, and every time I wonder (1) how many people don't know this information and (2) why don't all employers have this mandatory training? (I work in the U.S.)
