My favorite is DDD's Young Xehanort

I'm going off of memory here but I think what I specifically figured out with Demon Elvis was that if you dodge under swings and counter with a launcher (possibly guard break), it staggered him consistently.

So funny thing is, I replayed this one 2 years ago and intentionally restricted some of my movesets (no roulettes/god hand) vs bosses and asked myself to change said moveset per boss and I found ways to set up consistent stuns even on some of the demon bosses, etc. (except Angra, he sucks).

A friend of mine I got into KH fought him a few months ago and said he was struggling.
Me: Use the force
Them: That's not funny.
Me: On the contrary

Seph and SecretlyXem are so wonderful. They really are the definitive "use offensive magic as defense" bosses and can still mess you up.

Beat him again, this time finding a safer and more consistent build/party/arte setup based around ranges and what he wasn't resistant to. Worked like a charm, think I can beat him consistently.

Honestly, incredible boss, one of my favorites of the year. Hard to believe that was only 2-3 minutes in total.

I have long had extensive thoughts on it because it hasn't really left my mind despite these admissions, and many of those are concerning the things I do like. I tend to think it's important to stick by your guns on things but this game has polarization for reasons. And it's ok to admit why.
