So you watched 10 minutes of the show and judged it based on that? Couldn't even watch full the pilot? I recently watch it too I think it's great, Spyro underwent massive character development of the course of show, especially in the pilot. God forbid shows have flawed characters huh?

I don’t want to be negative but I’m just not feeling it, either in terms of character or gameplay design. We haven’t seen much but they sure as shit don’t want to talk about anything but the flying in interviews and that doesn’t help.

But that kinda breaks the game. Spyro isn’t Spyro if he can freely fly to any point on the map. I was to have faith in TFB but I recognize the only Spyro games they made were Skylanders (ugh) and Reignited, which is just copying somebody else’s work.

Aging him up is missing the point of the character. He’s a child dragon who can’t fly, that’s the whole gimmick. Older Spyro antithetical to the whole franchise outside of alternate takes like the legends series. I’m going to play it but I am against these fundamental design and gameplay changes.

Honestly I kinda disagree. Outside of alternate takes like legends games Spyro should NEVER be aged up. Of course that goes hand in hand with the other problem have which the free flight...

Kinda where I'm at but I'm fundamentally against aging up Spyro at all. The whole gimmick is that he is a dragon child who can't fly yet. Kinda feels like they're missing the point of the franchise.

With all due respect to TFB, aging him up is kinda missing the forest for the trees. He's not supposed to able to fly freely, the whole gimmick is that he's a child dragon that can't fly.

I’m kinda of thinking this might be ignoring the games after the original trilogy. The staff is what really makes me thinking it’s him.
